Does Lisinopril Cause Depression And Anxiety?
Hi & Welcome. It may cause depression and anxiety. Lisinopril is a long-acting angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor used to treat hypertension, heart failure, and other conditions. Its most common side effects include fall in BP, dry cough, swelling of the lips and eyelids, increased serum potassium levels, etc. Although less common, it can also cause depression and anxiety as its side effects. I advise you to consult your treating physician for an alternate effective but a safer medication to reduce your high BP. Hope this will help you.
