Does Lithium Interact With Depakote?

How common is it to add Lithium to someone s cocktail of long term Depakote with success at therapeutic levels of 125-130? My daughter has a new Dr. who is afraid to go over 100, even though that is for seizures, so he added Lithium and her Depakote level went from 114 to 89 in 3 months. She was on Depakote for over 10 years with careful observation/blood work. Can Lithium have this effect on Depakote? There were no other med changes during that time. S She is Bipolar and has FASD.

Lithium does not interact with Depakote. You can safely take both the drugs together.
