yes my son has been taking methylphenidate for a few years now and in those few years i have notice him becoming more aggressive as well as throwing violent tantrums he breaks things etc etc my oldest daughter and youngest daughter are afraid of him could this be because of that particular medication?

On long term use, it causes aggressive behavior like anger, violence, short tempered etc. Since your son was taking this tablet for 2 years, his aggressive behavior is mostly due to methylphenidate only.
