General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Microgynon is a combination of two hormones, estrogen and progesterone. It is often the case that the estrogen component will gradually increase the amount of discharge in the vagina but discharge is odorless.

It may cause tender breasts but it does not cause foul smell. The foul odour will be there only if there is an infection. If you have the foul vaginal odour, you should talk to your gynecologist who may give you an antibiotic or an antifungal tablet as per requirement.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
