Does Postinor Cause Withdrawal Bleeding?
Hello Dr, i had my last period on the 22nd of july,then I had unprotected Sex on the 1st of august(11th day of menstrual cycle). After d sex I used postinor 2,after 7 days(18th day of the cycle)i started bleeding. Pls I want to know can I be pregnant or is it withdrawal bleeding.

Postinor 2 is an emergency contraceptive pill. It has to be taken within 72 hours of having unprotected sex. It causes withdrawal bleeding and appearance of periods anytime within 3 weeks after taking the pill.
This is exactly what has happened as it should happen in your case.
Once you get your periods, it confirms that you are not pregnant.
