I have been taking pravastatin for more than two years, about 6 months after taking I started having leg problems, sever hurting from top of leg down, the could not raise right leg (like to put on pants or socks. Also dizzy when I lay down (room spins for a few seconds. Is this from the medicine?

welcome to hcm..see weakness and muscle pains are standard side effects of statins ..that's why they are prescribed at evening...now if there is no colour change in legs and discomfort is not continous ..then it is not worrisome ...about dizziness i would have evaluated you for cervical strain and ordered cervical spine xray ..so please visit general practioner to get these done
