Does Prempro Cause Vaginal Bleeding?
is it normal to get periods back when you or taking prempro?? I have started early menopause I am 43 . started four yrs ago after the birth of my third child ,, I haven t had a period for four yrs now and started taking .625 prempro for three mths and started period again.. also I have lost 13 pds, I had stomache flu 3 weeks ago and I don t think I lost weight because of that.

Prempro is essentially a combination of estrogen and Progestrone. Weight and appetite changes are possible side effects of the drug. Additionally, it can cause what is known as breakthrough bleeding.
However, if it persists, it may be wise to undergo endometrial sampling. That would help assess the healthiness of your endometrium.
