Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Recently I began taking Questran and my most recent liver enzyme test came back with ALT (SGPT) of 51. I m thinking that the Questran must be the reason since my ALT (SGPT) was 21 in January before I started taking the Questran. Should I be worried? Should I stop taking the Questra immediately? My total cholesterol is 250, LDL 160 and HDL 69.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, no need to quit the medicine "Tab Questran" because liver enzyme and this medicine is nothing to take any thing, more over clinical sign and symptoms are matter of concern as long as the live enzymes are concern, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
