Does Sertraline Affect The Baby During Pregnancy?

Hi, my girlfriend and I are thinking about having a baby, she is on 150mg of Sertraline a day for anxiety....what are the risks of autism, or pulmonary issues after birth....I understand that in some cases less newborns may experience withdrawal symptoms for up to 2 weeks...she had children previously while on this medication and there were no issues.

yes, this may create issue in newborn. you should seek advice from psychiatrist about discontinuing sertraline by giving complete history and diagnosis. there is risk of persistent pulmonary hypertension of newborn if sertraline is used during pregnancy.
