Does Silver Sulfadiazine Help To Treat Boils In Armpit?
Hello Doctor, My question is, Can Silver Sulfadiazine be used for boils. I have an appt with my Doctor, but cannot get In until Saturday, tomorrow afternoon. The boil is in my arm pit And hurts and burns. I have applied warm compresses, Many showers just to have it bead down on it and try to bring it all he way to. Head. I have not been squeezing it, but desperately need some relief. Thank you~ Debbie

Hi,
If you are not allergic to Silver sulphadiazine, you can take it for your arm pit boil. It will heal provided the bacteria causing are sensitive to it. Apart from this, incision of boil, if it's fluctuating and dressings would be additional care with your doctor's help.
