Does Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream Help In Treating Red And Swollen Arms?

my husband has been working in the overgrown part of the yard. He was stung by multiple yellow jackets, and has been scratched by prickly things. and has likely been exposed to poison ivy. I have some old calomine lotion, and some triamcinolone acetonide cream. His arms are red and swollen. Will either help.
