Hello dear. welcome to HealthCareMagic. thanks for trusting us. I've understood your queries and all your concerns. I'm sorry about your health condition recently. I have some questions before:
1. may I know how old are you?
2. for what condition you've used Vyvanse?
3. did you consume this drug as the dosage as doctor prescribed? when did you use it? did you use another medicine at the same time that may have interaction with vyvanse?
4. do the symptoms really disturbing your quality of life?
Firstly, Vyvanse is a lisdexamfetanime dimesylate, works as stimulant in
central nervous system, to treat attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) and
binge eating disorder (too much eating in case of mental disorder).
the symptoms you mentioned above are some side effects of Vyvanse. the most common are insomnia (27%), irritability (10%), headache (12%), dry mouth/xerostomia (27%), anorexia (27%), stomachache (12%). the others minor effects are
blurred vision, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, emotional lability, increased blood pressure and heart rate, decreased appetite and weight loss, unusual tiredness or weakness, psychology disorder such as paranoia, overreact emotionally, rapidly swinging moods etc.
what you feel after using Vyvanse is sometimes called "Vyvanse crash or Vyvanse comedown". When you first start taking Vyvanse, your doctor will likely prescribe the lowest possible dosage. This will help reduce any side effects as your body adjusts to drug. if the dosage is too high, you may experience an afternoon crash, also occur if you forget to take it.
what you have to be concern:
1. consume vyvanse exactly as your doctor prescribes.
2. use regularly at the same time every morning to avoid a crash.
3. contact your local doctor soon if you’re having problems with severe symptoms such as: signs of an
allergic reaction (hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face or throat), too fast heartbeats, decreased blood pressure, tremor, restlessness, hallucinations, unusual behavior, or motor tics, or dangerously
high blood pressure (
severe headache, blurred vision, ears buzzing, severe anxiety, panic attack, chest pain,
shortness of breath, seizure). it maybe a sign of emergency.
I hope these can clarify some of your questions. if you have anything else to be discussed, feel free to ask me in HCM. I'd be glad to help and resolve all your problems. Take care.
Regards,
dr. Asti Yuliadha
