Does Wellbutrin Interact With Cymbalta And Lamotrigine?
Hello. I am currently on Wellbutrin 150 mg QD along with Cymbalta 30 mg and Lamotrigine 100 mg each QD. Wellbutrin was the last med added. I am having severe daily headaches at the base of my skull. I would like to know if it could be a drug interaction or a side effect of the Wellbutrin. My psychiatrist stated that she does not believe the headaches are related to my drug regimen. Thank you in advance.
I understand your concerns, Welbutin does not have any significant interactions with Cymbalta and Lamotrigine. If you are having isolated headache after starting Welbutin, it is possible side effects of Welbutin.
I would say continue on this combination for a week. if you headache does not go away then I would recommend talking to your psychiatrist about it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saralkumar R. Desai,
