Does Wysolone Help To Treat Pemphigus Vulgaris?

my mother aged 65 years was recently diaognised with pemphigus vulagaris and the doctor has prescribed wysolone 20mg for 15 days and 10mg for the next 15 days before she comes for her review. Kindly tell me if this medication is necessary or she has any other alternate medication
