Does Xanax Interact With Ativan?

My son has been on heroin had a overdose last week just got out of the hospital and is cold all the time, is kind of scrunching his head down and to the right his speech is kind of slurred. They have had him on xanax and adavan is this a reaction or a stroke? very concerned jeffwoodring

No these symptoms are not suggestive of stroke.
These symptoms are due to withdrawal of heroine.
Heroine is substance abusing drug.
So withdrawal symptoms are very common after its use.
To subside these withdrawal symptoms, Ativan and Xanax are used.
So no need to worry for Ativan and Xanax interactions. These are safe and indicated in heroine withdrawal.
