Does Xarelto Interfere With A Wound Healing Process?
My wife recently had breast implant removal and breast reconstruction surgery. She stopped her Xeralto medication prior to surgery, then resumed the Xarelto 3 days post op. Her wound did not heal and the incision line split apart requiring further surgery. Can Xeralto interfere with wound healing process?

Xarelto causes thinning of blood and hence is stopped for few days during any major surgery. Though it can cause bleeding at wounds. However, it does not otherwise interfere with healing. If there is no bleeding at wound then probably it not Xarelto delaying the healing.
