The human body produces Retinol naturally. its an alcohol involved in vision. But its rare to cause elevated liver enzymes (SGPT). Ususally elevated enzymes are seen in alcoholic hepatitis, Viral hepatitis, Chronic hepatitis. Hope that answers the question
