Does A Bartholin Cyst Take Long To Alleviate?

hello.. i just found out that i have a bartholin cyst today 12/22/17 i had the cyst since 12/19/17 . i had a doctors appt they gave me 2 antibiotics clinadamycin hcl 300 mg an cephalexin 500 mg . i wanted to know how long will the bartholin cyst go away????? its the size of a grape but its not hurting that bad i just can t sit down. an on top of that im taking more medication because i had 2 of my teeth out ibprofen 800 hydrocodone 7.5 an a mouth wash to reduce the pain and swelling. should i stop taking my teeth medicine an focus on the cyst ?????? im only 125 pounds i lost 5 pounds im not eating only once a day an my body feel like its gonna shut down. please help me i need your support an answers

Well, I think that your doctors gave you wrong advice. BArtolini cyst in most cases wont go away with antibiotic treatment or ointment. It is advisable in these refractory cases to have surgical removal of the cyst since it will recur otherwise. There is no need to have such prolonged pain and wait for antibioitc to work. Simply go to gynecologist and consider surgical excision.
