Does A Hormone Level Drop During Pregnancy Always Indicate Miscarriage?
so i found out i was pregnant last week. so today i am 4-5 weeks. i went in to have blood drawn because i am experiencing some blooding and i was concerned they said my hormone level was 203 two days ago and now today its 101. Does this always mean a miscarriage ? or do i have a chance for my levels to go up
Normally with a healthy pregnancy the BHCG level should double in 2 days or at least increase with 60%.
In cases when BHCG does not increase with at least 60% in 2 days it shows that this pregnancy is having a problem and very likely something wrong is going on. Unfortunately if the levels are falling it means the pregnancy is not progressing as it should and because you are having some bleeding this might be due to a possible miscarriage.
I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
