Does A Painless Bump Between The Wrist And Knuckles Need Medical Attention?

I have a bump on the back of my hand between my wrist and knuckles. The bump is painless and feels like normal tissue. I have had it for a few months. I have full range of motion in my hand and fingers, but my fingers move slower than that of my other hand. I am not sure if I should go to the doctor or if this will go away on its own. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, i do care for your concern.
your history suggest of inflammation of the tendons of the back of your palm.
you have not mentioned your age and your occupation which will give more clue, as this occurs in heavy labour.
need not panic, i advise you to consult general surgeon and get examined completely.
most of times its completely curable. hope i have answered your question, if you have more doubt feel free to contact.
I find this answer helpful
