Does A Rotator Cuff Tear Cause Pain In The Neck And Chest?
I had a rotator cuff tear five years ago which had settled down, however for the past four months it has flared up again and been getting more and more painful. Despite having a cortisone injection the discomfort is still there and the pain seems now to be radiating to my neck and chest and I am experiencing shortness of breath, is this a common side effect from a rotator cuff tear?

A rotator tear cuff can cause pain in the neck and chest.
I suggest using anti-inflammatory medication to relieve the pain such as Ibuprofen.
I also recommend maintaining the area immobilized to prevent further damage.
