Does A Thick Orange Vaginal Discharge Without Any Discomfort Indicate A Yeast Infection?
I have been with the same partner for a year. We had foreplay and after which my vagina was extremely sore. Now I have this thick orange discharge with no itching, no odor, an no pain or discomfort. It has been about 2 weeks and I m still having the discharge. Should I treat this as a yeast infection?
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Any change in your vaginal discharge is something that needs to be evaluated by a qualified physician. The best types of physicians to approach with this problem are primary care physicians such as a family doctor or an internal medicine doctor, or a specialist such as an OBGYN.
Blood in the vaginal discharge may also cause it to be orange. At the end of a woman’s period, a dark brown or rust colored discharge is quite common. Though this discharge is normally described as being red or brown, it is possible for it to appear dark orange as well. A change in your vaginal discharge character or smell usually means some sort of vaginal infection. Wish you good health. Kindly regards
