Does Accidental Collison On Forehead Cause Black Eye And Soreness?

Someone on a bike hit me yesterday. Her chin collided with my forehead and left me with a goose egg and a small gash above my left eye. This morning I had a black eye on the left side and the beginning of one on the right side. All day long I ve been sore all over, is that symptom of concussion?

Hello
It seems from the history that yo had a injury to forehead in a bike accident, following which you had swelling above the eyes and black eye.
Black eye is because of collection of blood within the layers of the skin following injury. Since the layers of skin are in continuity with the layers of the forehead, the blood can seep to collect under the skin of the eyelids.
It is a self limiting condition and it will resolve by 3-4 weeks.
However you require to take treatment for forehead swelling.

Thank you
