Does Alcoholism Cause Elevated Cholesterol Levels?
my husband is 40 years old. he has a history of binge drinking and alcoholism. he has been sober 2 years.
he is physically fit, works out and quit smoking 2 years ago.
he recently had an abnormal EKG (paracardiium) and has elevated cholestrol levels. he has had no symptoms, pressure or pain, no shortness of breath ect
hi dear, binge drinking may elevate cholesterol levels. symptoms sometimes may not appear unless the cholesterol level disturbed much. smoking also cause the same. as you are physically fit and works out it is good and that's why you don't have any symptoms. consult physician for what measures you should take. don't eat oily food. Thank you
