Does An Intestine Virus Cause Arms And Legs Pain With Swelling?

I am recovering from an intestine virus. I have been taking 3 grams of paracetamol every day for about 4 days. My fever has gone but I have a lot of pain in my arms and legs accompanied by a swelling feeling. Is this normal? I am 38 years old, mu height is 1.70 and I weigh 64kilos
