Hi,

Many symptoms of anxiety are similar to those seen in heart attacks. So after these anxiety attacks, often people get worried and rush to hospitals, and needless to say, the worry further increases the anxiety, worsening the symptoms. Chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, sweating, choking sensation, fear of impending death, numbness, tingling etc are all common in anxiety. Since you are having these episodes repeatedly, most likely you are suffering from an anxiety disorder. If possible, consult a psychiatrist as these can be treated.

Best wishes.
