Does Appearance Of Shadow On Chest X-ray Indicate Cancer?
my friend is female 66 years of age she is a non smoker she has been for an x ray on her chest was told she has shadow has been told to go to her gp for results she like myself are worried does it mean she has caner or could there be something else

Shadow in chest xray means there may be an infection which can be bacterial or tubercle or some thing else. It depends the site , type , shape of shadow. If it is on the top it may be tubercle, if it is at the base it may be bacterial.Let the doctor examine the xray then picture will be clear.
