Does Blood Pressure Cause Weight Gain?
Hi thanks for posting your query on health care magic. Weight gain in your case can be an indirect effect of blood pressure exerted on kidneys. Kidneys under this effect cannot efficiently loose excess salt and water from the body. In such circumstances retention of salt and water can lead to weight gain. Consider dose modification of your blood pressure medications. Drugs like Frusemide can help to loose excess water. Consult your Nephrologist for further queries. Thank you, Take care
