Does Colonoscopy Cause Back Pain?

I have (2) herniated discs (L-4/5) and am scheduled for a colonoscopy this week. I am age 59, male, past history of cancer so the test is needed but I am concerned about the colonoscopy procedure causing more disc pain. I have read the procedure includes inflating the colon and this has me concerned about casuing more pressure on the discs thus causing more back pain. Thoughts?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

Colonoscopy does not cause disc prolapse or not causes back pain.
