Does Deterioration Of Health After Exposure To Red Tide Require Medical Attention?

My husband was exposed to red tide in December and his health has been steadily declining ever since. He has COPD from smoking for 40 years and is on 20 different medications for both that and heart issues. In October he was diagnosed with polymyalgia rheumatic and put on Prednisone. His lung function is now down to the point that he can barely function even with oxygen. My question is, could the red tide be the cause of his sudden decline? He was well before that, well enough that we had a great short vacation, he played golf 2 days and he felt great.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it must be COPD but the red tide may not be the reason for any of his medical conditions but differential diagnosis is matter of concern hope this information helps.
