Does Diabetes Cause Pain Under Finger Nails And Makes Fingers Cold?

Hi! I am a 17 year old girl that was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 6 weeks old. The past 2 weeks I have experienced pain under my fingernails. It started with just my thumb, but now my every fingernail hurts on my left hand. Any clue to what it is? And how to make it stop? Also my pointer finger on the same hand gets cold alot. Could the same thing be causing it? Thanks!

Dear Madam,
First you need to Check your sugars. Nerve irritation because of constant sugar fluctuations can cause these type of problems. Also check your thyroid status. You should do well with Gabantin derivatives and neurovitamin supplements. If problem persists you can go for a neurophysician consult.
Wish you a speedy recovery
