Does Dry Cough, Whistling Sound Post RSV, Pneumonia Requires Attention?

My almost 4 month old (nearly 15 lbs) has a terrible dry cough that makes him gag. He had a temp of 99.5 yesterday, but today is fine. He has a whislting sound you can hear in his chest that comes and goes. He has no other symptoms. When he was 2 weeks old he was in the hospital with RSV and pneumonia for 7 days. SO now I worry when I hear him coughing like this. He was born 4 weeks early weighing 6lbs, so I guess in a way it makes him 3 months old? Should I worry?
