Does Elongated Prostrate Gland Adversely Affect Radiation Treatments?

I have been told by two urologists that my prostate gland is elongated. I had a TURP in 2012. I have had two PSA showing 4.7. and 4.8 and my 2012 PSA was 2.4. I'm scheduled for a biopsy this month. My question is if the biopsy shows positive to cancer will the elongated gland adversely affect radiation treatments if I choose that as my treatment source.?

Hello
Thanks for query .Raised Serum PSA levels are considered to be due to cancer of the prostate unless proved otherwise by doing Prostate Biopsy.

If it turns out to be positive you had being operated for TURP in 2012 will need to go for radiation therapy ..

The enlarged prostate will not interfere with radiation ..In fact the size of the prostate will regress after radiation .
