Does Enlarged Lymph Nodes Indicate Future Cancer Condition?
My daughter is 11 and we found 4-5 enlarged neck lymph nodes & she is not sick. Today we had an ultrasound &needle biopsy. The largest one was 1.8cm. Her doctor says it could be scar tissue on the lymph node from an old infection but I m still concerned about cancer. Also she is in alot of neck pain & she can barely move her neck, feels stiff. What should I do
Enlarged lymphnodes usually indicate infection or cancer. so your doctor has done USG and FNAC and are negative for cancer. if you still have doubt you can go for biopsy of lymphnode, where they take tissue of lymphnode and look for cancer. if the report is negative. nothing to worry
thank you
