Hello,

Mold in the house is a common cause of allergic reactions and problems with cough. It is important to wash it out with solutions that have chlorine (this might help remove the mold for a few months but it might come back). When washing it would you might need to wear a mask to protect your breathing and not worsen your symptoms. you will also need to let the doors open for a few hours for the house to ventilate after washing out the walls with chlorine solutions.
Meanwhile you can take Loratadine at night to help with the allergic symptoms.

Another alternative is to paint the house from start, put down the paint that is already moldy and paint it again- this would bring a longer lasting effect (if the ones that will paint it uses a kind of solution that prevents mold).

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
