Does Fever With Lightheadedness Need Medical Attention?
Hello, i think i have the flu. I've had it since tuesday and today i seem to feel worse than i've felt since tuesday. I haven't had nothing to eat apart from crisps this may be the reason. I feel light headed at times and get weird hot flusters and different breathing patterns every now and then, Should i see a doctor or go to hospital?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of fever with lightheadedness which could be due to upper respiratory tract infection, enteric fever typhoid, viral infection or infectious mononucleosis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep temperature under control by using Ibuprofen or Paracetamol every 4-6 h. I suggest to consult a general physician as soon as possible to find the right cause of this. You should get blood test done. You should give anti inflammatory medication such as Levocetirizine. You should avoid dehydration by taking plenty of fluids. Take diet rich in vitamin B12. You should do tepid sponging to lower down the temperature. Avoid taking hot, sharp and oily food substances. Take multivitamins to booster immunity.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
