my 18year old daughter was just seen in minor ER and diagnosed with the flu but she forgot to tell them about her swollen gums that are bleeding . does the flu cause swollen bleeding gums?

Yes flu does cause bleeding gums and most of the time due to thrombocytopenia so I suggest u go back to er for another test of CBC to look for thrombocytopenia
