Hi, my name is Sumaiyah and I m 22. I recently found out by my aunt that I was originally a twin. The problem is that I was told when I was younger that my mother had problems with me while she was pregnant and that she had a miscarriage 2/3 months into the pregnancy and then a troublesome pregnancy for the rest of her pregnancy. Then when she gave birth to me I almost didn t make it. Now what I understand is that a miscarriage means you lose your baby. Does this mean that she maybe had twins and lost 1 of the babies? The reason I ask is because my aunt hinted that I was a twin. But I don t fully understand what happened with my mothers case. Also would I have twins if I get pregnant because my mothers mom had twins and if this that happened to me means that she had twins so then it would be 2 generations of twins. So would I be a third generation. And would I have problems also because my aunt survived but her twin brother didn t when my gran had her twins?
