Does Having Enlarged Spots Or Bumps In Mouth, Back Of Tongue, Throat Indicates Enlarged Circumvallate Papillae?

hi! I've had a cold for the past 4-5 days. i feel a lot better as we speak! I still have a slight productive cough; however earlier i looked in my mouth and the back of my tongue and throat had a few enlarged spots or bumps.. painless and i didn't notice it before. After researching it i came to the conclusion that its just enlarged circumvallate papillae… i was wondering if this should be of any major concern?

Yes, you have got the search correctly. The circumvillate papillae will be in the back of tongue and they usually not seen unless you open the mouth widely and pull the tongue out.
Regarding the symptoms, you need not worry, unless there are some difficulty in swallowing or change in quality of voice.
