Does Hernia Operation Lead To Swelling Of Testicles?
im 62 and i have had a bit of trouble with my right testical swelling up if i bend over to do work, and sometimes if i walk far without my jock strap on. this has only been like this off and on since my last hernia opperation ,which was my third right side hernia.

I would advise you to undergo ultrasonography and color doppler examination of the scrotum to decide the pathology you have.
I think at your age it is always better to get the correct diagnosis.
Normally the hernia operation does not cause the swelling in the testis unless the internal ring has been tightened , or as a result of fibrosis - which is inevitable in all cases of any surgery.
