hi dr andrew, please i want to know what is the cause of miscarrying my baby. i was placed on bromergon to reduce my prolactin level and after a while, i stopped using it because i couldn t achieve pregnancy. I now got preganant but lost it. could it be because my prolactin level is still high or it is actually bromergon that made me loose it?
This tablet is not taken during pregnancy. If hyperprolactinemia is there it affects pregnancy [do blood prolactin levels while using these meds]. It should not be used during pregnancy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
