Does History Of Papillary Cancer And Thyroidectomy Cause Thoracic Ascending Aortic Aneurysm?

I had papillary cancer and total thyroidectomy plus Radioactive iodine 15 years ago. I just had open heart surgery after a large thoracic acending aortic aneurysm was found. Any relation? I have no family history, am a non smoker healthy 38 year old female with no congenital valve abnormalities

Hi,

Your aortic aneurysm has no relation with papillary carcinoma of thyroid.
It is totally different Pathology. So don't worry about that.
