Does Ibuprofen Therapy Increase Creatinine & Protein Levels In Urine?
Recently, I have had high serum creatinine and high urine protein levels. Kidney ultrasound shows thinning of the parenchyma which the Dr thinks is because of ibuprofen therapy I was on previously for knee pain. Is it true that ibuprofen can cause that and will it correct itself now that I am no longer atking it?

Haiur into chronic or acute kidney disease with all those finding. Kidney disease can br due to various reasons like infections, variations in bp, diabetes, poisoning, drug induced, the most notorious being nsaids, eg brufen, ,diclofenac,stopping the drugs has agood possibility to reduce your problem, if lt is acute.by gods grace, ur will power and optimism.pls keep ur regular check ups done with sr creatinine all kidney function tests..stop all the nephrotoxic drugs.keep ur visits regular with the nephrologist.
