Does Increased Dosage Of Cymbalta Interfere With The Effectiveness Of Ultram?

I am on cymbalta 30mg and ultram 5 (or .5) as needed for pain flair ups because I requested a safer non narcotic script. I ve read that if the Dr ups my dosage amounts to the normal 60 mg of cymbalta...there is a chance of a negative reaction when using the ultram. Is this true and should I ask to use something else. The ultram is written for every 8 hrs or as needed. I typically only take 2 per day (Morning and night before bed.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the pain is main concern then it need to be managed with NSAID only and the best way to deal with the pain is to beat the pain if this is not due to any pathology, NSAID is the safe drugs, else increasing the dose of medicine that are you are taking is not good idea hope this information helps.
