Does Infusion Cause Colitis?
hi I have cmv virus and only got diagnosed on the 8th week in hospital after having a biopsy I received an infusion and blood transfusion I have now got colitis which I feel is getting better could I have caught this through the infusion used for chrones

No it cant cause cllitis but it may cause some allergic reactions which may manifest as bowel and digestion disorders. You should take probiotics and drink plenty of fluids and have easier diet. If there is no improvement you should see gastroenterologist. Wish you good health. Regards
