Does Inguinal Hernia Surgery Cause Pain In Testicles?
I recently had inguinal hernia surgery. Can having inguinal hernia surgery cause pain in the testicles despite this was to repair a tear in the lower abdominal wall. The pain seem to come right during Sex pre ejaculation. I will admit I have only had 4 days of recovery. I also have developed a pain in my side on the same side I had the surgery on. It is a constant pain but it is not killing me. I know this pain is not normal to me and seem to appear after the surgery.
Hi, The testes are handled at the time of hernia repair, and it is almost universally common to find some degree of pain and swelling of the testes on the side of hernia operation soon after surgery. You should try and have a scrotal support, and also avoid exerting yourself, and the discomfort should go away soon in a couple of weeks..
