Does Intake Of Clonidine, Metoprolol And Valsartan Simultaneously Cause Any Dangerous Interactions?
I m taking Clonidine for Blood Pressure as well as Metprolol and Valsartan - Want to know if there are dangerous interactions when I take them even is it s 2 hours apart. I find that only Clonidine seems to lower my blood pressure but only for about 4 hours and then it just shoots up suddenly. It also causes my heart beat to increase.
Hello, Thankyou for asking your question at health care magic
The three medications together can lower your blood pressure and slow heart beat which can lead to dizziness, fainting, light headedness etc.If you have any of these symptoms consult your health care provider. You also need more frequent monitoring of blood pressure.
But do not stop any of these medications or reduce the dose without consulting your doctor,as this can lead to sudden increae in blood pressure.
Hope I was able to answer your questions Please feel free to address any more concerns Regards Dr.Lekshmi
