Does Intake Of Meprate Affect The Chances Of Getting Pregnant?

Hi madam... I hve irregular periods.. After gtng tablet only i ll gt period.. February 5th la i gt period.. And my doctor prescribed meprate tablet from 21st day to 25 th day one tablet per day... Nw i am taking that tablet.. My question is this tablet will affect my pregnency if i am gtg pregnant in ts month... Please tell me the solution..

Hi, meprate is not advisable if you want pregnancy. You can take other progesterone like susten or duphaston for inducing periods. In your case , I think you should go for evaluation first. do a thyroid profile and prolactin levels and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries. Also do a AMH level. These tests will tell you why your are not getting regular periods and what medicines will be required. Discuss with your doctor regarding this.
