Prograf contains tacrolimus that belongs to the group of medications known as immunosuppressant medication is used for preventing rejection of a
kidney transplant. It helps the body accept the new organ by weakening body's immune system. Prograf may cause
muscle weakness, pain, ankle pain, joint pain, back pain, numbness or
tingling sensation in the hands or feet, mood swings, difficulty in sleeping etc., as its side effects.
Again, Prograf can cause a symptoms of allergic reactions such as rashes, itching, swelling of lips, tongue, throat, eyes, face, arms or feet, wheezing, breathing difficulties, dizziness,
hypotension, rapid heartbeat etc. If you suffer from such type of side effects for long or bother you, then you should consult your doctor first for
medical help.
