General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Postinor may cause patients to have irregular bleeding and heavy bleeding as well, so the symptoms you are having may be related to its use. On the other hand, if the bleeding is much more than normal bleeding and lasts more than a week, you may need to see your doctor make sure you are not developing anemia.
Any delay of your periods beyond your due date warrants a urinary pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
